What is Project Unity, and what do you do?
Project Unity is a collaborative organization dedicated to building and sustaining racial unity and community engagement through dialogue, education, and action-based programs. We host events and initiatives that bring together individuals, faith groups, businesses, law enforcement, and civic organizations to promote understanding and trust.
How can I volunteer with Project Unity?
We welcome volunteers to help with various programs and events throughout the year. Opportunities include:
- Assisting at Together We Ball, Together We Dine, and other community programs
- Supporting event setup and logistics
- Facilitating conversations at Together We Dine
- Administrative and outreach support
What programs does Project Unity offer?
Project Unity offers several signature programs, including:
- Together We Ball – A basketball event that brings pastors, police officers, and the community together.
- Together We Dine – Facilitated conversations over a meal to foster open discussions on race and unity.
- Together We Learn – An educational program that connects youth with law enforcement to build positive relationships.
- Together We Sing – A concert event that fosters unity and community through music.
- Together We Can – A platform for corporate and community initiatives that drive action for change.
