All leading up to the Big Game. Let’s come Together over the game of basketball…what unites us is greater than what divides us.

Why Pastors & Police? Why Faith & Law Enforcement?
The event’s headliner game is Pastors & Police (not Pastors vs. Police) to represent unity within the Dallas community. Dallas law enforcement, community and religious leaders play side by side to show that what unites us is greater than what divides us. The event also features a high school exhibition game which showcases talent of high school varsity players from around the metroplex. The beauty of this game is that these students have likely never met or played with or against each other. They come together in “unity” to play a sport that we all love – basketball. The high school game is coached by DPD officers. The Big Game is coached by SMU Men’s and Women’s head coaches.

The Dallas Mavericks was a proud partner of this year’s Together We Ball!

Congrats to our FIVE lucky winners!

Project Unity’s Youth Skills & Drills Camp was hosted by the SMU Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams for rising students in 4th – 6th grades. Students learned important basketball skills, techniques, character building, interacted with other youth from the metroplex and spent time with the SMU basketball team players and law enforcement officers who were on the court. We were pleased to host this camp at no cost for community youth.

Thank you to all of our hard-working, dedicated volunteers who took time out of their weekend to help us put on such a great event!

Project Unity was excited to support students of diverse backgrounds as you pursue your post secondary or graduate school education. Project Unity was proud to sponsor one $1,000 college scholarship during the 2025 Together We Ball at SMU.

Congratulations to our winner!

Project Unity was excited to support educators across the Metroplex as they work to acquire classroom supplies and learning project materials for their students. We were proud to sponsor two teacher stipends of $250 during the 2025 Together We Ball event.

Two teachers were randomly selected to receive a one-time $250 stipend to purchase materials and supplies.

Congratulations to our winners!

It’s State Fair of Texas time, ya’ll! Project Unity was excited to giveaway 3 pairs of tickets to this year’s State Fair of Texas!

Congratulations to our winners!

High school students were invited to tour the SMU campus and take a sneak peek at life as a potential future Mustang. The campus tour began at the Mustang statue outside of Moody Coliseum. The tours were lead by SMU students.
