About the Program
Together We Ball is more than a game—it’s a movement. Through basketball, we bridge gaps, foster meaningful dialogue, and bring communities together. Pastors, police officers, high school athletes, and community leaders take the court to promote unity and trust. This year, we are focusing on bringing kids from across the metroplex together to not only learn important skills on the court, but to learn how to appreciate our diverse backgrounds and play for unity!
  • Learn basketball skill techniques
  • Interact with police officers
  • Free breakfast and lunch
  • Free camp t-shirt
  • Live DJ
  • Exploration stations and
  • Police vehicle showcase
  • Back to school giveaways
  • Parent safety sessions
  • Giveaways and more!

The Big Game will return in 2027! We will be back TOGETHER for the love of basketball…what unites us is greater than what divides us. Start stretching now! 2027 will be one you won’t want to miss!

Why Pastors & Police? Why Faith & Law Enforcement?
The Together We Ball headliner game is Pastors & Police (not Pastors vs. Police) to represent unity within the Dallas community. Dallas law enforcement, community and religious leaders play side by side to show that what unites us is greater than what divides us. The event also features a high school exhibition game which showcases talent of high school varsity players from around the metroplex. The beauty of this game is that these students have likely never met or played with or against each other. They come together in “unity” to play a sport that we all love – basketball. The high school game is coached by DPD officers. The Big Game is coached by local high school coaches and coaches from the Dallas Mavs organization.
